Homeland Security Minor

The Homeland Security Program at St. John’s University focuses on the protection of the nation’s critical infrastructure and populace from terrorism, criminal acts, and natural disasters. With most of this infrastructure (energy, transportation, telecommunications, agriculture, etc.) controlled by private industries, an unparalleled working relationship has developed between various levels of government, the private sector, and international partners. The Homeland Security Program explores these vital partnerships and provides students with a solution-oriented understanding of the multifaceted issues in the homeland security field.
