The 18-credit minor in Italian allows students to supplement their major field of study with an understanding of the rich history and culture of Italy. Students in the minor must complete two Italian language courses, along with 15 credits chosen from among the following.

You may also apply any online course related to Italian art, history, culture, or economics, chosen in consultation with a faculty advisor.

Minors are not recognized by NYSED therefore associated courses are only eligible for federal or state aid consideration when required by a major or when also used to satisfy a core or general elective requirement.
