Risk Management Minor

The minor in risk management provides an introduction to the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed for success in risk management, including the methods of developing financial protection against loss, with an emphasis on insurance principles and solving risk management issues.

Please note, students do not have to be in The Peter J. Tobin College of Business to pursue this minor. 



  • RMI 1301 Risk Management

Elective (Students will select three of the following):

  • RMI 3333 Commercial Property
  • RMI 3335 Life-Health and Employee Benefits
  • RMI 4334 Commercial Liability Risk Management and Insurance
  • RMI 4360 Corporate Risk Management
  • RMI 4390 Insurance Industry Operations

The existing RMI minor for non-Tobin students will be terminated
