The Associate Degree in Film Studies at St. John’s University offers students a basic understanding of the theory, history, and practice of film industry, its craft, techniques, protocols, and business practices. There is some practical, hands-on experience in the minor. The central goal is to prepare students to either demonstrate their interest in film while entering the job market or to proceed to earning a bachelor's degree in Television and Film.
