Computer Science Minor (ABET-accredited)

The minor in computer science is an option that provides students an opportunity to supplement or enhance their major program with computer science coursework and additional mathematics courses.

Computing knowledge is very useful for students majoring in any area, especially those who are majoring in any of the sciences, business, and education. Having a minor may provide additional job opportunities. 

The minor coursework will include programming fundamentals and computational and analytical problem-solving skills in Java programming, including data structures, and algorithms, software development and design methods and mathematics essential to modern computing.
