Sport Management, Fast Track Program (5-Year B.Sc./M.P.S. Degree Program)

The combined Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Professional Studies (M.P.S.) fast track program in the Division of Sport Management offers highly-motivated students the opportunity to complete both undergraduate and graduate degrees in five years of full-time study.

Accepted fast track students may enroll in up to four approved graduate courses during their junior and/or senior years, while still working toward earning their undergraduate degree. These graduate courses count toward both degrees, saving students time and money as they pursue their educational goals.

Sport Management majors who maintain a 3.5 overall GPA and a 3.5 GPA in the Sport Management major are eligible to apply to the Fast Track Pathway program once they have completed a minimum of 60 credits cumulatively and 12 credits in their major.  Interested students should contact the Sport Management Program directors or the CCPS Dean’s office for more information.

The graduate-level credits may be applied to both degrees if: 

• The student maintains the required minimum undergraduate indices of: 3.5 in the major and 3.5 cumulative overall
• The student receives a minimum grade of “B” in the graduate-level coursework 
• The student immediately matriculates into the indicated master’s program upon completing the bachelor’s degree. Should a student decide to leave SJU and return, these graduate credits will not apply to the graduate degree.
