Accounting Information Systems Minor

The minor in accounting information systems is an introduction to the foundational skills and competencies necessary for success in such advisory services as compliance audit, fraud examination, information technology audit, and internal audit.



  • ACC 2370 Financial Accounting and Reporting
  • AIS 2354 Accounting Information Systems I (No prerequisite)
  • AIS 3355 Accounting Information Systems II (Prerequisite AIS 2354)
  • AIS Elective at 3000 or greater level  

Select one AIS elective (3 credits) from the following:

  • AIS 4356 Principles of Internal Audit
  • AIS 4359 Sustainability Accounting: Attestation
