Parent and Family Connections aims to provide you—our parents, families, and supporters—with various opportunities to become better acquainted with St. John’s University and the services we offer.

We consider you to be members of our University community and a partner in your student’s college experience. Establishing a relationship with you is an important component to ensure your student’s success.

While at St. John’s University, your student can become involved in various student organizations, leadership development programs, internships, and service. Navigating through this experience is a journey—a Johnny’s Journey to Success.

Mission

Parent and Family Connections educates, engages, and guides parents, family members, and supporters of St. John’s University students with the goal of successful student transition and retention to degree completion.

This program serves parents, family members, and supporters by providing helpful information and resources that ensure a healthy level of involvement in a student’s college experience. It offers a variety of events, educational programs, and other opportunities to get involved in the University community and contribute to a student’s academic experience.
