Parent and Family Connections aims to provide you—our parents, families, and supporters—with various opportunities to become better acquainted with St. John’s University and the services we offer. This is accomplished by offering virtual and in-person programs on campus and in your region that inform as well as celebrate St. John’s more than 150-year legacy.
We consider you to be members of our University community and a partner in your student’s college experience. Establishing a relationship with you is an important component to ensure your student’s success.
It is our goal to assist you during your student’s transition to St. John’s and throughout their entire academic career. We serve as the communication link between you and the University. You know your student best; Parent and Family Connections is a resource when you feel they need extra support or when you have a question or concern. It is designed to help connect you with the appropriate department and service, and to inform and educate you about important student issues.
While at St. John’s University, your student can become involved in various student organizations, leadership development programs, internships, and service. Navigating through this experience is a journey—a Johnny’s Journey to Success.
Every student creates their own unique path. We invite you to join us on your student’s journey.
