Each year, St. John’s University hosts a weekend dedicated to our students and their families. Come see what your student has been up to on campus and how they are adjusting to the St. John’s community. We’re family now!
This year our gathering is doubled in a joint Homecoming and Family Weekend celebration! The weekend will feature Breakfast with the President for families of incoming students, opportunities to explore our academic offerings, athletic competitions to cheer on the Red Storm, student musical theater performances, a Community Mass, our traditional Family Carnival, and much more.
Homecoming and Family Weekend takes place on Friday, October 25, through Sunday, October 27, 2024, and provides students and their families the opportunity to reconnect through a variety of interactive events. Registration for Family Weekend will be open this summer.
Events are subject to change and are dependent on the weather. Much of the programming will take place outdoors, so please dress and prepare accordingly. In the event of significant inclement weather, events may be canceled.
