October 25–27
St. John's University is excited to host StormFest: Celebrating our Johnnies from the Past, Present, and Future on October 25–27. This weekend of campus fun is a wonderful combination of Family Weekend, Homecoming, and Open House all rolled into a fabulous extravaganza!
Families of our current Johnnies are invited to enjoy the campus with their student. We welcome back home our alumni Johnnies and their families, and we roll out the red carpet for our future Johnnies as we welcome them to the St. John's family!
Highlights of the weekend include breakfast with Rev. Brian J. Shanley, O.P., President, for our first-year families; a 5K walk/run; a family carnival and beverage garden; opportunities to explore academic spaces, including the newest building on campus, the St. Vincent Health Sciences Center; National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I athletic events; musical theater performances by the Chappell Players Theater Group; a community Mass and fellowship; and so much more.
There is no charge to attend; beer/wine tickets can be purchased in advance.
Events are subject to change and are dependent on the weather. Much of the programming will take place outdoors, so please dress and prepare accordingly. In the event of significant inclement weather, events may be canceled.
