Sungwon Kim, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Sport Management. He received a Ph.D. in Health and Human Performance (Sport Management) from the University of Florida. Kim’s primary research agenda centers on improving interventions to promote safe environments for youth sport/recreation participants using a multidisciplinary approach (e.g., legal, policy, risk management, health promotion). His latest work focused on reducing and managing concussions among youth athletes in an attempt to inform policy and practice related to safety issues.
