Dr. Ginzburg is an ambulatory care pharmacist specializing in family medicine. Her clinical site is in New York City at The Institute for Family Health as part of the Mt. Sinai-Downtown Family Residency Program where she teaches pharmacy students undergoing their Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences. As an appointed faculty member for the family medicine residents, Dr. Ginzburg provides pharmacotherapy education through precepting and didactic lectures. Additionally, she and her pharmacy students provide education to patients on proper management of their medications, medical conditions, and medical devices (e.g., glucometers, CGMs, insulin pumps, inhalers, etc). Dr. Ginzburg is also involved in clinical research with pharmacy students and family medicine residents.

Since 2003, Dr. Ginzburg has been teaching didactic classes at the St. John’s Queens, NY, campus, which include various drug and disease modules and the elective course Advanced Education for the Patient with Diabetes.
