Dr. Ginzburg has been teaching at St. John’s University since 2003. She is an ambulatory care pharmacist specializing in family medicine. Her clinical site is in NYC at the Institute for Family Health as part of the Mt. Sinai-Beth Israel Residency in Urban Family Health here she educates students undergoing their Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotation. In addition to training pharmacotherapy to family medicine residents, she and her pharmacy students provide medication therapy management (MTM) to patients within the clinic. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) and is Board-Certified in Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM).  Dr. Ginzburg also performs clinical research and is the Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services to the Institute for Family Health.

The primary didactic classes she teaches on campus are the endocrine and cardiovascular Drugs and Disease modules as well as the Advanced Education for the Patient with Diabetes elective.
