Katherine C. Aquino, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Administrative and Instructional Leadership and Associate Dean for Innovation and Partnerships for The School of Education at St. John’s University. She holds a BS in Psychology, an MA in School Psychology, a PhD in Higher Education Policy, and an Advanced Certificate in Instructional Design and Delivery. Her research focuses on disability and accessibility within the organizational environment. Her work has been published in the Journal of Diversity in Higher Education, Journal of College Student Development, and the Journal of Postsecondary Education and Disability, among others. Katherine has significant experience in accreditation, assessment, data accountability, and program review initiatives and works with organizations to ensure data integrity, compliance, and program effectiveness.

Research Interests

Her research focuses on disability and accessibility within the organizational environment and is dedicated to investigating the complexity of disability in the postsecondary setting.
