Dr. Gerard Quinn is an Assistant Clinical Professor at St. John’s University. He graduated from St. John’s University with his Pharm.D. as part of the class of 2016 and went on to complete two years of pharmacy residency. He completed a PGY-1 in Pharmacotherapy at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and a PGY-2 in Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC. He holds a dual board certification from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and Psychiatric Pharmacy (BCPP).

He previously worked as a full-time outpatient psychiatric pharmacist at Bellevue Hospital under a collaborative practice agreement prior to joining the faculty at St. John’s in 2023. His current SJU APPE practice site is within Queens Hospital and focuses on Outpatient Behavioral Health. His research interests include, but are not limited to, psychiatric patient outcomes, substance use disorders, pharmacy student and patient education, and perceptions of mental health within the general and student populations.
