Dr. Jiang, an Assistant Professor in St. John’s University's Chemistry Department, holds an Ed.M. in Science Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Binghamton. With research spanning language learners in science education and novel electrode materials for Li-ion batteries under Nobel laureate Dr. M. Stanley Whittingham, she brings a unique blend of academic and industrial expertise. Her prior role as a research scientist in the industrial sector, focusing on high-performance batteries for military applications, complements her future research interests at St. John’s, which include the synthesis and characterization of electrode materials for advanced battery systems.
