Thomas M. Kitts, Ph.D.

Professor
Thomas Kitts is a Professor of English and Speech at St. John's University. He has written and edited several books on popular music and published many articles and reviews. The Area Chair of Music for the Popular Culture Association and American Culture Association, he edits, with Gary Burns of Northern Illinois University, Popular Music and Society and Rock Music Studies. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife Lisa, with whom he has four children.
