- Sandra Beysolow, Ph.D., PA-C, DFAAPA
Dr. Sandra Beysolow is an Associate Professor who brings more than four decades of experience as a P.A. and educator to the St. John’s University P.A. program. Her clinical career spanned over 20 years of practice in general surgery, critical care, primary care, pediatrics, and occupational health. Dr. Beysolow earned her initial National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) PA-C credential in 1983 and has consistently maintained her PA-C status through NCCPA recertification examination to date.
In January 2014, she was awarded Distinguished Fellow status (DFAAPA) by the American Academy of Physician Assistants for “exemplary achievement in service to the Physician Assistant profession in advancement of health care for all people and in dedication to the community.”
Dr. Beysolow’ s teaching experience began during her work as a clinical preceptor and mentor to P.A. students; she is now a professor in multiple P.A. program courses. She is a member of two major P.A. professional organizations, including the New York State Society of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
