Marilyn J. Dono-Koulouris

Marilyn Dono-Koulouris is an Associate Professor in the Department of Core Studies.  Since 2002 she has served as the Coordinator of Discover New York and for the past two years has been serving as the Associate Dean of St. John’s College in Staten Island.  Upon the closure of the Staten Island Campus, she will transition to the Queens Campus within the Department of Core Studies serving as the Director of First Year Seminar. 

Her research interests include Interdisciplinary Education within Learning Communities, Academic Service Learning and Civic Engagement, Professor and Student Learning Styles, Experiential Learning, Leadership Style, and Teacher Empowerment. 

Dr. Dono-Koulouris continues to present her research at conferences within the United States and  internationally.
