I earned a Ph.D. degree in Operations Management from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. I also hold an MA degree in Decision Sciences from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor degree in Mathematics from Kiev State University, Ukraine. For the past 26 years, I had been a faculty member in Management department, Tobin College of Business at St. John’s University. My research interests span areas of operations, service management, quality, international business and entrepreneurship, as well as sustainability, and more recently motivational theories and social phycology within organizations especially as they relate to multi-generational workforce. I have numerous publications in pre-eminent peer-reviewed journals. I have co-authored several book chapters, with the most recent one coming out shortly (summer of 2020). Over the years, I had presented numerous research papers at National and International conferences. I served as an Editor of the Global Business and Technology Association Reading Book for 10 years.
I was a recipient of the Teacher of the Year award from Student Government. I also have been awarded an Outstanding Teaching Award from TCB for work and engagement on Staten Island campus. I am also a proud recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Medal for dedicated years of service at St. John’s.
