Kwoloong T. Liaw, Ph.D.

Liaw is a Professor of Finance in the Economics and Finance Department at St. John's University, New York. He was chairman of the department. Professor Liaw has published articles in the areas of repurchase agreements, banking, and smart beta ETFs, green bond market, and Brexit and risk contagion. Professor Liaw has published books in investment banking, investment banking in China, and capital markets. His principal areas of teaching and research include fintech, capital markets, investment management, and investment banking. He regularly participates in professional and academic activities.
