Dr. Massetti has a Ph.D. in Information and Management Science from the Florida State University, an M.B.A from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and a BA in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Florida.

She began her career publishing exclusively in the area of Information Technology, with articles on the impact of computers on creativity and organizational models for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). She has since expanded her research to include basic and applied efforts in the area of Social Enterprise. She has developed and published models for categorizing social entrepreneurship and helping organizations of all forms better manage their social actions. Her articles can be found in MIS Quarterly, The Journal of Computer Information Systems, Emergence Complexity and Organization, The Review of Business, and Management Research News.

Dr. Massetti is a member of a variety of professional organizations and involved in several community efforts. She enjoys teaching a wide variety of management courses.
