Alona Nathan, MSN, RN, C-EFM

Professor Nathan has been a registered professional nurse for more than a decade with expertise in maternal and newborn health. Her nursing career began with the successful completion of a labor and delivery fellowship program and National Certification Corporation certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring, to support safe and effective birthing practices. Her competence in caring for high-risk obstetrics patients was cultivated through education and practice in two top-rated hospital systems in Queens, NY. She received cross-training throughout the perinatal continuum.

Prof. Nathan holds a Master of Science in Leadership and Management from Western Governors University and is enthusiastic about bringing her insight into academia to help shape the next generation of nurses.
