The College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences has dedicated support from University Career Services, a division of Student Affairs.

We serve as a resource to students, offering career advising, job-readiness skills training, internships and employment services. University Career Services is open to St. John’s University matriculated undergraduate and graduate students. We encourage you to begin utilizing Career Services early and often in your college career.

Handshake is the University’s platform used by Career Services to connect students & alumni to our resources, events, career fairs, and our employer partners!

  • Search & apply for opportunities from our employer partners

  • Build your profile to be searchable for employers

To get the most out of your Handshake Profile:

  1. Complete your Profile – Filling in your career interests brings better results and recommendations to your homepage, and allows employers to find you by your previous skills & experience. We also send relevant exclusive opportunities to students who complete their profile and career interests.
  2. Upload Your Resume/CV – So that you can apply to opportunities at a moment’s notice!
  3. Explore Companies & Jobs/Internships – Create a saved search, or favorite your dream companies to be the first to know when new opportunities are posted, or if they’ll be on campus!
  4. Check out the Resources section under “Career Center” for other tools, and articles specific to your major.
