- Professional Licensure Disclosure Statement
Federal Regulation requires all higher education institutions that offer an academic program that is either designed to meet educational requirements for a professional license or certification or is advertised as meeting such requirements, to provide students with information about whether completion of that program would meet licensure requirements in a state for that occupation.
Disclosures provided are strictly limited to the University’s determination of whether an education program, when successfully completed, meets certification requirements and/or licensure requirements. St. John’s is unable to verify an individual ability to meet licensure or certification requirements unrelated to its educational programs. State licensing boards may have fact specific individual requirements.
These disclosures do not provide any guarantee that any specific state will approve or deny an individual’s application for licensure or certification. Additionally, it is important to note that these disclosures are unable to account for changes in state law and regulations that may impact an individual’s application for licensure or certification that occur after the disclosure is viewed.
All students are encouraged to routinely review and monitor licensing and certification requirements for the state where they intend to work/practice.
