(QUEENS, NY, OCTOBER 17, 2025) — St. John’s University’s Tobin Center for Executive Education (TCEE) has announced a unique partnership with ACORD—the standards-setting body for the global insurance industry—designed to bridge the gap between learning and performance and help insurance-industry organizations strengthen their people, culture, and competitive advantage.
The University’s learning and development programs offer ACORD member organizations and their employees the opportunity to elevate their skill sets through exclusively priced virtual or in-person learning across three career levels—early, mid-level, and senior level.
Programs focus on building insurance fundamentals, enhancing professional skills, and developing leadership capabilities. They leverage the expertise of the Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science, which is housed in The Peter J. Tobin College of Business. The Greenberg School was recently ranked 11th among national undergraduate insurance programs by U.S. News & World Report.
Established in 1970, ACORD is a nonprofit serving the global insurance and related industries. It is an industry leader in identifying ways to help members make improvements across the insurance value chain. Its community includes more than 36,000 organizations worldwide, including insurers, reinsurers, brokers, agents, solution providers, and other insurance stakeholders.
