Mark your calendars for Johnnies Day on February 11, 2023.
Whether you’re a St. John’s student (or plan to become one), an alumnus, a professor, a parent, or a friend of the University, you’re invited to join us as we show the world how proud we are to be Johnnies!
Our Men’s Basketball team takes on the Providence Friars on Johnnies Day at noon inside Madison Square Garden. Grab your tickets and cheer on the Red Storm in person and join four special St. John’s alumni who will be in attendance: Z-100’s Danielle Monaro and Diamond Cooper, and Power 105.1’s Gabe Pabon and Nyla Symone.
Meet up with fellow St. John’s fans pregame at Stout NYC for the 1870 Court Tailgate, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Make sure to pass through Penn Station’s rotunda, which will be covered with St. John’s branding—making it the perfect backdrop for your Johnnies Day selfies! We’ll hand out T-shirts, rally towels, and treats throughout the station.
Show your Johnnies pride at Carnesecca Arena as Women’s Basketball takes on BIG EAST rival DePaul at 4 p.m.
On Saturday, February 11, post photos and videos that demonstrate your St. John’s pride on social media. Whether it’s a selfie, a memory, or a moment, use the hashtags #SJUElevates and #JohnniesDay and tag @stjohnsu. When you do, you’ll be entered to win a $1,000 Visa gift card through our Johnnies Day social sharing contest.
