UIS (University Information System) is the management software, which the university uses to maintain information on all students and employees. It is important to note that your information will not be entered into UIS until all your employment paperwork has been completed. You can check with your chair’s office to make sure that you have completed everything and that it has been submitted. Once you are entered into the system you will be able to:

The Faculty Convocation is an annual tradition held before the start of each academic year. The Convocation recognizes the excellence and achievements of faculty members and introduces and welcomes our new and visiting faculty members to the University Community. A reception will be held immediately following the convocation in Taffner Field House.
New full-time and visiting faculty will be formally recognized on stage during the Convocation. You will receive an invitation from your dean’s office. Please confirm your attendance before Friday, August 18, 2023.

As we begin the academic year, you are invited to participate in the New Student Convocation. The Convocation welcomes and introduces our incoming students to the University’s commitment to student success, through faith, service and academic excellence. Immediately following the Convocation, join us in welcoming our students, and enjoy food, music and activities at the Red Storm Celebration event on the Great Lawn.
