Congratulations on joining the St. John’s University faculty community. In an effort to make your transition to our campus as smooth as possible, we have prepared this section of the Provost’s webpage as a channel to the information you need.
Paperwork and Logistics
UIS (University Information System) is the management software, which the university uses to maintain information on all students and employees. It is important to note that your information will not be entered into UIS until all your employment paperwork has been completed. You can check with your chair’s office to make sure that you have completed everything and that it has been submitted.
Once the entire hiring process is complete, you will be able to:
- Obtain an ID (StormCard), which provides access to the University Libraries and other campus buildings
- Access your St. John's email
- Access Signon, the University’s portal that provides secure access to your courses, UIS, Outlook, and many other University applications
- Apply for a parking permit
