Tobin Global Destination Courses (GDC) offer exciting international study abroad opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students.

The mission of these courses is:
To create significant life experiences for our students that combine rigorous educational objectives with real world exposure to international business operations and cultures.
Each semester, the Peter J. Tobin College of Business offers exciting international study abroad opportunities through our Global Destination Courses (GDC). Students experience a rich diversity of cultures, political systems, and business perspectives while developing the critical skills to succeed in today’s global marketplace.

London, England: London Finance & Analytics Program
FIN 4350: Seminar in Finance (Undergraduate)
FIN 634: Investment Analysis (Graduate)
BUA 630: Intermediate Business Analytics (Graduate)
Travel to London with Dr. Mikael Bergbrant and Dr. Norean Sharpe to obtain firsthand insight into the inner workings of the global economy while deepening your understanding of England's role in the global marketplace. While in London, you will attend lectures and seminars at the international headquarters of major market players to enhance your appreciation for the interdependence of financial institutions around the world.
Approximate Travel Dates: March 2 - March 6, 2026
Eligibility Criteria: Successful completion of FIN 2310 (for UG FIN), FIN 607 (for GR FIN) courses and BUA602, or equivalent, (for BUA630).
Program Fee: BUA630: $1,685 (not including airfare) after receiving Dean’s Scholarship of $500. FIN634/4350: $500 (not including airfare) after receiving SMIF Scholarship of $1685 (All student account billed $2185 before scholarships*)

Get unprecedented access to prestigious international accounting firms and global corporations, where you'll delve into the intricacies of international accounting principles. This immersive experience perfectly aligns with the Accounting Scholars' Program's mission to shape students into globally minded professionals, equipping them to tackle complex global accounting and taxation challenges head-on.
Program Fee: $1,535 (not including airfare) *confirmed students will receive a Dean’s Scholarship of $500

Rome, Italy: International Business Law & International Management
Class: LAW 562 (International Business Law) and MGT 601 (International Management)
Approximate Travel Dates: Summer 2026
This study abroad program for graduate students in Rome, Italy, aims to leverage the location to achieve specific outcomes that complement the core international business law and management curriculum. These outcomes combine academic knowledge with cross-cultural experience, preparing graduates for leadership roles in a globalized business environment.
To maximize the academic value of the Rome location, these graduate courses will utilize local resources and the campus's unique position in both ancient and modern Rome by integrating beyond the classroom through on-site visits and practical projects which will provide a rich and experiential learning environment.
Application
Three European Cities: London and Zurich together, then Munich (undergrads) or Dubia (grads), plus Bermuda to follow
Travel to 3 countries: London, Zurich and then Munich for RMI3350 and Dubai for RMI650 (with a Bermuda trip later)
RMI 3350 (Re) Insurance Leadership in Markets and Society
Students accepted into this program will travel to London, Zurich and Munich to visit the headquarters of leading insurance companies overseas. This course prepares students for professional careers in risk management and insurance via discussions about US and foreign insurance and reinsurance operations in target countries. Classes will be delivered in a hybrid learning format with selected face-to-face meetings in Manhattan. The course anticipates a separate weekend trip to Bermuda in March 2026.
RMI 650 (Re) Insurance Leadership the Global Market
Students accepted into this program will travel to: London, Zurich and Dubai, and will visit the headquarters of leading insurance companies overseas. Eligibility Criteria: Greenberg School majors with a minimum GPA of 3.50. Students must have completed at RMI 1301 by Fall 2025. Preference is given to students who have completed more RMI courses. To be considered for admission into this course students must complete an application and interview.
