Cox Honors DELL Visit

Funded Ireland Business Experience

Highly engaged junior-level Cox Honors students have the opportunity to participate in a funded business experience in Cork, Ireland during spring break. Visit global companies including Dell Technologies, Stryker, and Jameson Distillery, while connecting with faculty and students at University College Cork.

Europe Scholarship Opportunities

Students who choose one of Tobin's Global Destination Courses in Europe may receive a scholarship stipend to help offset travel costs. Past destinations have included Brussels, London, Madrid, Paris, and Zurich.

Honors Program Curriculum

The Cox Honors Program integrates honors coursework throughout your undergraduate experience while providing opportunities for internships, research, and experiential learning. Students are required to take a minimum of 27 credits of honors-level courses within the Tobin College of Business.

Admission Requirements

Entry requirements:

  • Entering first-year student
  • 92+ high school average (weighted by high school)
  • Proven performance in high school quantitative courses
  • SAT scores are preferred in admission consideration
     

Honors Program Requirements:

  • Attend Honors-specific guest speaker events
  • Maintain a minimum 3.6 grade point average
  • Enroll in honors courses delineated by “H”
  • Participate at site visits
  • Complete internships
  • Join an academic organization
