The Thomas J. Cox Jr. Honors Program at Tobin College of Business prepares students to become global leaders. Students in this program will form a network of exceptional scholars who will navigate the business curriculum at an elevated level.
Our Honors Program provides participants the opportunity to share an academic journey with fellow elite scholars, as well as our distinguished faculty. Enriched curricular and co-curricular activities within this program are designed to stimulate intellectual, professional, and personal growth by combining elements of career development, research, and corporate social responsibility.
Participating students will take a minimum of 21 credits of Honors courses within The Peter J. Tobin College of Business. In addition to the elevated coursework, students will hear from industry speakers, conduct research with faculty within their major, connect with Tobin College alumni, and engage with career counselors in their first year.
We believe a global perspective is critical for graduates to be successful in their careers. To support this vision, students in this Honors Program are offered the opportunity to participate in a unique Global Destination Course (GDC) in Europe that will complement their Honors Program coursework. Students will receive scholarship funding toward the Global Destination Course.
Students in this program will be required to take a minimum of 21 honors-level credits within Tobin College.
