Esther Duflo, Ph.D., a co-winner of the 2019 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences for her experimental approach to alleviating global poverty, will deliver the Fall 2019 Henry George Lecture on the topic of "Good Economics for Hard Times."
Dr. Duflo is the Abdul Latif Jameel Professor of Poverty Alleviation and Development Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
