St. John’s advertising students prove to be better than good at NSAC
Facing some of the most prominent programs in the country, a team of 21 St. John’s students finished fourth in the National Student Advertising Competition’s District 12 at the New York Institute of Technology on April 21.

Advice to My Freshman Self | 2018

IICM holds Spring 2018 Graduate Symposium
The Institute for International Communication invited distinguished Soviet dissident and journalist, Prof. Leonid Goldin to speak at IICM on Monday April 9th. The purpose of the seminar, ostensibly about Russian propaganda, was to contextualize for students the methods and underlying models of power practiced by contemporary Russian media.

University Announces New Doctoral Program of Professional Studies in Homeland Security
Responding to the growing need for a new generation of leaders in the field of homeland security—and the professionals who will educate them—St. John’s University’s College of Professional Studies has launched a Doctoral Program of Professional Studies in Homeland Security, to begin in the Fall 2018 semester.
