(QUEENS, NY, August 17, 2026), The School of Education at St. John's University is proud to support the professional growth of Long Island public school educators through a dedicated tuition discount program. Eligible full‑time educators employed in a Long Island public school district and admitted to a graduate program within the School of Education receive a 20% tuition reduction.

This discount applies to all graduate programs offered within the School of Education, including Ed.D, Ph.D, MSEd, and Advanced Certificate programs.

The tuition discount is renewable for up to three years of continuous study beginning in Fall 2026 and is available exclusively to newly enrolled students. Recipients must provide annual proof of continued full‑time employment in a Long Island public school district.

Key conditions include:

  • The discount applies only to courses required within the student’s degree program.

  • It cannot be combined with any other University scholarship, discount, or award.

  • Programs with pre‑established reduced or contractual tuition rates—including St. John’s Online —are not eligible.

This initiative reflects the School of Education’s ongoing commitment to supporting the educators who strengthen Long Island’s public schools. By expanding access to high‑quality graduate programs, St. John’s University remains dedicated to advancing professional excellence and preparing leaders who will continue to make a meaningful impact in their communities.  We look forward to welcoming new graduate students this fall and supporting their continued professional growth.
