- Nominate a St. John’s Employee for Recognition in the 2025 Values and Inclusion Program
St. John’s University’s Office of Human Resources and Office of Equity and Inclusion are pleased to announce that the nomination period for the 2025 Values and Inclusion Program (VIP) is now open. The program’s goal is to acknowledge and celebrate employees who demonstrate a commitment to inclusion, thereby emphasizing and promulgating the University’s core values: Truth, Love, Respect, Opportunity, Excellence, and Service. All faculty, administrators, and staff are eligible for nomination, and all campuses and locations are encouraged to participate.
During the current nomination period, the VIP Nomination Form will be accessible online from November 1 to December 20. Nominators are asked on the form to highlight and showcase examples of their nominee’s commitment to inclusion and embodiment of the University’s core values.
All VIP nominees will be recognized and celebrated within the University community. A review committee will select three nominees (one faculty member, one administrator, and one staff member) to be the recipients of a special recognition award presented by Rev. Brian J. Shanley, O.P., President, during the University’s annual Employee Recognition Convocation.
Program information and prior VIP recipients can be found on the Human Resources Employee Engagement webpage.
