The Human Resources Policy Manual is a comprehensive guide to St. John’s University’s employment-related policies for staff and administrators. You are encouraged to check online for policy updates frequently.
To view the list of recent policy changes, visit the Recent Policy Updates tab of the Human Resources Policy Manual, or use the Alphabetical Listing tab to search policies by title. You can also search by topic using the Table of Contents tab.
The Office of Human Resources sends administrative supervisors a detailed summary of individual policy changes annually. Your supervisor was recently notified of these updates. You should not wait for a notification to find out about policy changes. As a reminder, you also have access to an Employee Handbook that serves as an employment guide and includes policy summaries.
Typically, revisions are made to clarify or update a policy or to comply with the law. In addition, one new policy was added this year: Policy #510 Paid Prenatal Personal Leave.
