Chuck Davis, Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer, Stone Point Capital, is the “2025 Insurance Leader of the Year"

The Peter J. Tobin College of Business at St. John’s University and the Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science Will Honor Mr. Davis at the Annual “Insurance Leader of the Year Dinner” on January 21, 2026.

NEW YORK (September 15, 2025) – St. John’s University’s Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science, part of The Peter J. Tobin College of Business, will honor Chuck Davis, Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer, Stone Point Capital, as the “2025 Insurance Leader of the Year” at its 30th Annual Insurance Leader of the Year Award Dinner. Mr. Davis will be introduced by Jim Carey, Co-Chief Executive Officer, Stone Point Capital, and Vincent J. Dowling, Dowling & Partners Securities, LLC, who will join the ceremony as Honorary Dinner Chairpersons. The event will take place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City. Proceeds from the dinner will support the University’s Greenberg School students and programs.

“Throughout his distinguished career in the financial services industry, Chuck’s impact on businesses, individuals and organizations serving our communities has been significant and sustainable. We are delighted that he has been selected as this year’s Insurance Leader honoree and will be with us at the award event in January,” said John W. Keogh, President and Chief Operating Officer, Chubb Group, Chairman of the Greenberg Board of Overseers. “Chuck serves as Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Stone Point Capital, a premier private equity firm in the global financial services industry. Within the insurance industry, Chuck and his firm have influenced numerous companies and the industry broadly for many years. Countless leaders in our industry have had the privilege of working with Chuck and his colleagues throughout their careers, and we at the Greenberg School are grateful for the financial support his nomination is sure to generate on this evening.”
