After the pandemic hiatus, St. John’s Office of International Education (OIE) was ready to celebrate International Education Week again. During this salute to study abroad, foreign language study, and international education, OIE offered a series of events for the University community to learn more about the Italian or French languages and possible careers in international education, meet our international students at the Queens, NY, campus, and view the winning photos from the study abroad photo contest.

Watch this short video clip by journalism major Danielle Campos-Martel to learn more about our international students as they share their unexpected experiences, hopes, and challenges.
Study abroad participation continues to grow, and students’ submissions for the photo contest were another way for them to share their widening view of the world.
