At St. John’s University, academic excellence starts in the classroom with knowledgeable and dedicated faculty working to engage and motivate students to reach new heights. In alignment with Strategic Priority #2: Recruit, recognize, and retain the best faculty, staff, and administrators, several outstanding faculty members have been promoted and tenured this past year. The newly promoted faculty were feted at a dinner hosted by Conrado “Bobby” Gempesaw, Ph.D., President, where he recounted his own journey to achieve tenure and the critical role of faculty in helping students to achieve success.
