“Stars” Will Shine at the 2014 Rising Stars Awards & Networking Event

Eun Chong (EJ) Thorsen '08 — an associate in the Litigation Practice Group at Vishnick McGovern Milizio LLP — is one of Queens Courier’s 2014 Rising Stars. She will be honored as one of the borough’s top young professionals at a gala networking event on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Terrace on the Park.
“In the past, the event has boasted attendance of over 400 people and has raised thousands in charity funds. Guest appearances have been made by Borough President Helen Marshall, Former Mets baseball player Darryl Strawberry, Mike Woods, meteorologist for Fox 5’s Good Day New York and last year Danielle Monaro, Morning Show Co-Host, Z100 Elvis Duran & the Morning Show.”

St. John’s University Announces Commencement 2026 Honorees
St. John’s University will hold its Undergraduate-Level Commencement Exercises on Sunday, May 18, at 10 a.m. on the Great Lawn. The Most Reverend Richard G. Henning, S.T.D., D.D. ’86SJC, ’88M.A., Archbishop of Boston, MA, will serve as this year’s speaker and be conferred an honorary degree during the ceremony.
