Every semester since 2009, the Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Library in partnership with Conning & Company hosts the Conning Presentation the familiarize corporate clients and Davis Library members with Conning services, Davis Library resources, the School of Risk Management, the Center for Professional Education and the Ellen Thrower Center.

On October 30, 2013, Stephan Christiansen, FCAS, MAAA presented his research findings on the U.S. Insurance Industry Outlook, covering the state of the industry and sheding light on strategic repositioning in the market. Focusing on key performance drivers and watch list items, Mr. Christiansen approached the outlook and forecast for both Property-Casualty and Life-Annuity.

The Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Library admistration is once again glad to share its extraordinary resources and contribute to the debate of the insurance industry challenges.

St. John’s University Announces Commencement 2026 Honorees

St. John’s University will hold its Undergraduate-Level Commencement Exercises on Sunday, May 18, at 10 a.m. on the Great Lawn. The Most Reverend Richard G. Henning, S.T.D., D.D. ’86SJC, ’88M.A., Archbishop of Boston, MA, will serve as this year’s speaker and be conferred an honorary degree during the ceremony.
