The University provides worker’s compensation insurance to all staff employees. A staff employee who suffers an injury or illness as a direct result of his or her job should refer to policy #618 in the Benefits section of this Manual for information on worker’s compensation insurance and procedures for reporting a claim.
Full-time administrators who become disabled as a result of injury or illness related to employment should follow normal health insurance channels to obtain medical care, and use sick time allowance to continue their wages (consult policy #402A, Sick Time for administrators).
