Areas of Responsibility
Kimberly is responsible for coordinating meetings of the University Personnel Committee, maintaining the faculty database, supporting activities related to the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (for University accreditation) and the New York State Department of Higher Education (for new academic program approvals and program changes). She also contributes to special projects such as the annual Faculty Convocation, Employee Recognition Convocation, and New Faculty Brochure.

Profile
Kimberly began her career at St. John’s University in 2005 as an Executive Secretary in the Office of the President, reporting to the EVP for Administration and to the CFO / VP for Business Affairs. In 2010 she was given the additional responsibility of supporting the University Secretary, with responsibilities including coordination of materials for quarterly meetings of the Board of Trustees. In 2012 she also provided support to the Special Assistant to the President. 

In 2015 Kimberly transferred to the Vincentian Center for Church and Society within the Office of University Mission, where she coordinated the delivery of social justice and mission-related event programming offered by the Center, including the Vincentian Chair of Social Justice lectures. From 2015-2021 she maintained a concurrent presence in the Office of the Provost, where she assisted with reviewing/proofreading/formatting of new academic program, and program change applications for the NYSED, tracked the accreditation status of academic programs, and in 2015-16 coordinated the University’s MSCHE self-study process and planned the accreditation team’s 3-day site visit, resulting in the University’s successful MSCHE reaccreditation in 2016.

In summer 2021 Kimberly moved fully to the Office of the Provost in the role of Coordinator, reporting to the Vice Provost and Chief of Staff / Institutional Accreditation Officer, Kimberly holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from C.U.N.Y. Baruch College.
