Future Johnnies Attend Accepted Student Day in Record Numbers
More than 2,100 prospective students—a record-setting turnout—and their families got a taste of the St. John’s student experience as they gathered inside Carnesecca Arena at St. John’s University’s annual Accepted Student Day, held on Saturday, April 7, on the Queens, NY, campus.
Over 700 Staten Island Students Visit CareerCon 2018 at St. John’s University Staten Island Campus
On Monday, February 26, over 700 Staten Island high school students spent a beautiful day at St. John’s University, Staten Island, participating in CareerCon 2018. Ninety-five employers set up tables in the gym for a career fair that informed students about internship and summer job opportunities. Representatives of the businesses and agencies helped students understand the range of careers that are available to them and the education and skills required to pursue those careers

University Mission Celebrated with Local Catholic High School Leaders
In what has become an annual fall tradition on the Queens, NY, campus, St. John’s University hosted local Catholic high school principals, guidance counselors, and senior University administrators for an appreciation dinner and discussion of shared issues and ideas in secondary and higher education.

Seeking a taste of college life at St. John’s University, nearly 870 high school juniors and seniors—and their families—made the trip from as far away as California and England to visit the Queens campus on Saturday, October 14, for the semester’s first Open House.
