St. John’s University’s Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science, part of The Peter J. Tobin College of Business, will honor M. Steven DeCarlo, Executive Chair, Amwins,as the “2024 Insurance Leader of the Year” at its 29th Annual Insurance Leader of the Year Award Dinner. Mr. DeCarlo will be introduced by both Amwins’ Executive Vice Chair, W. H. “Skip” Cooper, CPCU, and Chief Executive Officer, Scott M. Purviance, who will join the ceremony as Honorary Dinner Chairpersons. The event takes place on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City. Proceeds from the dinner support the University’s Greenberg School students and programs.
