Growing up in Ukraine, I always dreamed about earning my master’s degree in the United States. I enjoy traveling internationally: going on holidays, staying in hotels, and meeting people. The Master of Science (M.S.) degree program in International Hospitality Management (IHM) was a perfect fit to allow me to explore my passion.

The professors use their real-world experience to provide students with a practical look at what we will likely encounter on a daily basis. Without their support, I would not be as confident in my ability to flourish once I graduate. This degree will really help me land a good job in the hospitality field.

As a student in the M.S. IHM program, every day is different. A wide variety of courses are offered, including Delivering Successful Customer Service, Marketing and Sales in International Hospitality Management, and Hospitality Analytics and Decision Making.

The opportunities to broaden your perspective are endless, through internships and such activities as field trips, seminars, conferences, and meetings with hospitality industry representatives. Students are given the opportunity to connect with people from all over the world. At St. John’s, I always feel like I am part of something larger than the moment.
