April 27, 2017

On April 17, 2017, the Board of Directors of the financial holding company CIT announced a $30,000 scholarship gift to St. John’s University in the name of outgoing and long-serving CIT Board of Director Peter J. Tobin ’65CBA, ’96HON.

The scholarship gift from CIT will be directed to students of high financial need enrolled in The Peter J.
