
Tobin's Department of Economics and Finance held a reception on Thursday, November 10, 2016 for alumni, faculty and some of the department’s top students to socialize and network at the St. John's Manhattan campus.
The evening was highlighted by keynote speaker James Riley Jr.‘74CBA, ‘75MBA, and ‘03HON, retired partner and managing director of Goldman Sachs and Company, who gave an informative talk to current students and recent alumni that offered anecdotal recommendations and great insight into the financial services industry.
The event was a great success, linking faculty and current students with alumni. The department hopes to hold another event in spring 2017.
