A Reunion to Remember: St. John's First Grand Alumni Homecoming Weekend June 3–4, 2016

April 4, 2016

From the Greatest Generation to the millennials of today, proud St. John’s graduates representing all class years are coming together this June for the University’s first Grand Alumni Homecoming Weekend.

The celebration takes place at the Queens campus Friday, June 3, to Saturday, June 4. For the first time ever, a full range of activities—including a St. John’s 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run, Alumni Great Lawn Party, brunch and Q&A with the President, academic lectures, and Alumni Mass—are part of a single, festive event.

“This is truly going to be a reunion to remember,” said William G. Schaeffer ’73CBA, Director of University Relations. “It’s an all-in-one weekend, with activities for alumni of all generations—and their entire families!”

The weekend culminates in Saturday’s Grand Alumni Celebration Dinner for all anniversary classes—’40s, ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s—and a special tribute to the class of 1966. Dinner follows the University Alumni Award Ceremony honoring notable graduates for their achievements and commitment to alma mater.
