Welcome Back from Alumni Relations

Dear colleagues,

I hope you all had a rejuvenating summer and took advantage of those amazing Summer Fridays. They were a great opportunity to recharge, and I’m thrilled to see everyone’s refreshed energy and enthusiasm as we dive into the new school year. 

With students returning to campus, your focus and commitment to their success are more important than ever. Whether it’s through direct interactions, behind-the-scenes support, or innovative initiatives, your efforts contribute significantly to shaping a positive and enriching environment for our students. All the great work you do makes my job as the Senior Director of Alumni Relations that much easier because our students leave the University prepared, connected, and grateful. 

As we kick off this year, I invite you to participate in the upcoming events designed to foster community and celebrate our shared mission. One such event is StormFest—a weekend-long celebration of St. John’s past, present, and future—which promises to be a fantastic way to reconnect with colleagues and engage with our vibrant campus community. 

You’ll also notice our large, white tent reemerging on Carnesecca Plaza in late October. As basketball season approaches, we’ll invite you to join us at our 1870 Court receptions. More details are forthcoming. 

Thank you for your continual dedication and hard work. I am excited about the year ahead and look forward to all that we will accomplish together.
