Employees Encouraged to Attend Professional Development Day

St. John’s University’s Offices of Human Resources and Employee Belonging invite all employees to participate in Professional Development Day on Thursday, March 5, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.in the D’Angelo Center Ballroom. 

This full day of programming is designed to help you build skills, strengthen connections, and improve well-being, while also providing opportunities to engage with our benefits vendors and network with colleagues across the University. Twelve workshops will be aligned along three concurrent learning tracks: technology, skill-building and employee well-being. 

New this year will be a Department Showcase to be held between the morning and afternoon sessions. This midday break promotes cross-departmental employee networking and learning by inviting representatives from departments across the University to highlight their programs and services and share information about their departments. We hope you stop by a table between 11:50-12:50 during the break.

All employees who register and attend will receive a FREE St. John’s University tote bag and giveaways. Refreshments and bites will be available throughout the day.
