St. John’s University Raises Nearly $2.4 Million at Annual Insurance Leader of the Year Dinner
St. John’s University hosted its 24th Annual Insurance Leader of the Year Award Dinner on January 16, raising nearly $2.4 million to fund student scholarships and support program initiatives for the School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science (SRM), part of The Peter J. Tobin College of Business.

New “MAD Lab” at the Center of Content Creation for Students
The new Media Arts and Design Lab, known as the MAD Lab on the University’s Queens, NY, campus, is the result of a collaboration between the College of Professional Studies (CPS) and St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences to create a state-of-the-art learning space for classes.

Service and Scholarship Celebrated at St. John’s Annual President’s Dinner
For more than two decades, the annual President’s Dinner has brought together generations of alumni, trustees, administrators, staff, faculty, friends of St. John’s—and most importantly, students—to raise funds for scholarships, especially for those students most in need. St. John’s premier fundraising event also serves as an opportunity to honor people and organizations with the Spirit of Service Award for exemplifying the University’s Vincentian mission of service.
